Alliteration is when the writer repeats a certain sound or letter in a word. In the song “Better be a Better Boy,” preformed by Mick Terry, a metaphor can be found. “Better be a better boy before you bother…” The preformer repeats the letter B and the “buh” sound. I think song writers use alliterations in songs because it helps the listener remember the song easily. I think the preformer uses the alliteration in the song because it helps the liseners remember the song and it makes the song a little more intresting.
